What is “Where Success Lives”?
“Where Success Lives” (WSUL) is a newsletter for parents, educators and anyone interested in how the best homes, neighborhoods and schools influence the next generation’s success. With a free weekly email, “Where Success Lives” aims to give you the numbers and context you need to feel more empowered as you decide where to live and how to get your child the best education.
Where we live determines how we live. I hope everything that I write will empower parents to shape future communities and build success for all children.
About Rebecca
I’m Rebecca Healy, and I’m really glad you’re here. This newsletter is informed by many things I enjoy: making sense of complex decisions, weaving together data and stories, and a deep curiosity toward understanding place and success. I wear many hats, including:
Growth strategy consultant for Fortune 100 companies and high-growth startups, in industries like Telecom, Finance, and Cybersecurity;
Volunteer and supporter of our neighborhood school PTA as the VP of Advocacy;
Design enthusiast, constantly renovating and refreshing our home;
Mom of two wonderful kids (two Capricorns almost exactly two years apart).
I am motivated by examining and reimagining the status quo. The structures, systems, and cultural values that build and protect wealth and inequality are particularly interesting to me as I didn’t grow up wealthy, but find myself in a privileged position as an adult.
If there is one thing that drives me each day, it is understanding how our environment affects our actions and our behaviors.
The WSUL Community
I enjoy a good conversation, and hearing your thoughts, ideas and feedback is *the* reason I started this newsletter. I don’t want to be alone in my thoughts. (Seriously!)
It’s completely fine with me if you don't agree with what I'm writing. Some of my best relationships were formed from great conversations with people that have differing views. I learn so much that way, and always respect and appreciate differing perspectives. Don't feel afraid to comment with a new idea. I want this to be a welcoming community for all of us.
WSUL is Free, Join Us?
I hope you’ll consider joining me and the rest of the WSUL community - it’s free and you’ll get new insights and ideas weekly. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
